Kate Odgers

With 10 years’ experience, Kate began her career in the legal industry in 2011 at a boutique litigation firm in Melbourne. Commencing as junior secretary, Kate was quickly recognised for her enthusiasm, efficiency, and ability to multitask and over a period of 6 years progressed to senior legal secretary to the managing partner, while also supporting two other lawyers. It was here that Kate gained valuable knowledge in various areas including litigation, corporate and commercial law, personal injury, employment law, as well as family law.

For the last 5 years Kate has worked exclusively as a paralegal in family law, having been particularly drawn to the personal and emotional aspect of those matters. She has a well-developed knowledge of family law process, language and forms, as well as an understanding of the emotional needs of these clients.

Kate is able to hit the ground running and support multiple lawyers at once, each with different needs, and can manage a heavy workload. With strong organisation and administrative skills, Kate thrives working under pressure and collaborates with our family lawyers to ensure crucial deadlines are always met in the smoothest possible way.

Kate will often be your first point of contact with the Ramsden Lawyers Family Law Department, and is always available to assist you with booking appointments, administrative needs and general family law enquiries.

Originally from Melbourne, Kate relocated to the Gold Coast in early 2018 for a change of lifestyle and hasn’t looked back since. In her spare time she enjoys dance and yoga, weekend getaways, eating out and relaxing by the beach.
