Casandra Laurie

Casandra Laurie is an Associate at Ramsden Family Law bringing over 10 years’ experience to the family law team.

Having achieved an Honours degree, Casandra has demonstrated a high level of academic knowledge and ability. After completion of a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), Casandra undertook Practical Legal Training and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland on 12 June 2020.

Casandra demonstrates a strong commitment to family law, with particular expertise in matters involving the best interests of children. She is dedicated to facilitating arrangements that support meaningful relationships between children and significant people in their lives.

In addition to her passion for children’s matters, Casandra has a keen interest in divorce, defacto relationships and property settlement matters.

Casandra is a skilled negotiator known for guiding her clients toward practical and positive resolutions. She has extensive hands-on experience and demonstrated advocacy skills, representing clients across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria, in both local and Commonwealth Courts.

Casandra Laurie is an active member of a number of professional associations and currently holds a committee member position at the Gold Coast District Law Association.
