John Ramsden
Chief Executive Officer
John Ramsden founded Ramsden Lawyers in 2003 and has played a key role in its evolution into a multidisciplinary legal practice. Recognising the deeply personal and often emotional nature of family law matters, John and his brother Reece established Ramsden Family Law in 2019 as a specialised division and Incorporated Legal Practice dedicated to supporting individuals and families through separation, property and parenting disputes, and other sensitive legal issues with a team of only family law staff in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney and Melbourne.
As part of the management team, John works closely with Ramsden Family Law’s practitioners to ensure the delivery of compassionate, client-focused legal support during often emotionally challenging times. Drawing on his extensive background in commercial and corporate law, he helps guide the strategic and operational direction of the Family Law division, with a strong focus on service excellence and professional integrity.
John’s leadership is instrumental in maintaining high standards across the firm, fostering an environment where clients receive tailored and results-driven advice in all types of family law matters.
Ramsden Family Law is an incorporated legal practice and not a legal partnership. The term partner is a form of art and does not denote that they are a partner within a legal partnership, but rather that they hold a senior position within the firm.
