Samira Friis holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Technology, Sydney, along with a Master of Applied Law specialising in Family Law.
Admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in December 2016, Samira has been practicing Family Law since July 2017, representing high net worth and high-profile clients in complex financial cases, as well as matters involving international properties, businesses, and corporations.
Having previously worked at specialised Family Law firms in North Sydney and the Sydney CBD, Samira has extensive experience in a variety of parenting matters, including cases with serious child abuse allegations, intractable relocation matters, and securing various urgent Court orders.
Samira approaches each case with utmost objectivity, ensuring her clients’ concerns, priorities, and goals are addressed with thorough attention. She empathetically strives to help clients achieve commercially sound outcomes in a timely manner.
In addition to her skill in settling matters outside of Court through negotiation, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution, Samira has extensive courtroom skills and regularly appears before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia Divisions 1 and 2.
